As long as the order procedure with edpnet is not finalized, you should not cancel your subscription with your previous provider (not even for a future date!). If you do, edpnet cannot guarantee a smooth transfer of your existing telephone number.
What do I need to do when I cancelled my telephone number too soon
- If the cancellation procedure is not finalized: cancel the procedure at your previous provider and order your subscription with edpnet.
- If the cancellation is finalized: unfortunately, edpnet can no longer migrate your telephone number.
Will my contract with my previous provider be automatically cancelled after the transfer
As soon as the activation with edpnet is finalized, we advise you to contact your previous provider to verify whether your contract has been cancelled in reference to the transfer. Not all providers do this in a proactive way.
