To ensure calls work correctly, follow these formatting guidelines:
- Remove (0) from phone numbers: Save contacts as +32456123456, not +32(0)456123456. Including (0) will cause calls to fail.
- Always use international format: Save all numbers with their country code (+32 for Belgium, +31 for Netherlands, etc.).
- Use international format even when abroad: Dialing numbers without the country code while roaming can cause routing issues. Your device may incorrectly determine whether a call is local or international, leading to failed connections. Save all contacts in international format, even local numbers in the country you are visiting.
